Play with WEB4
Start a free demo session on the live WEB4 node: you get your own demo avatar, routed across MongoDB, SQLite and Neo4j, and anything you switch off affects only you. Try HyperDrive failover, replication and importing data. The CQL catalogue also links to separate local demos; emulators are labelled where used.
Start
On the sandbox, a demo session creates a throwaway avatar for you: no account needed. On production or dev, sign in with your own avatar. Your password goes only to the WEB4 API and is never stored. The session token lives only in this page's memory. No avatar yet? Create one in the OPORTAL.

1 · Choose a CQL query
Query your visible holons and configured public records through the same WEB4 API: MongoDB, SQLite, Neo4j, ActivityPub, IPFS, SOLID, AWS S3 metadata, Azure Blob properties and Solana account metadata. The provider list shows what is ready on this host.
Start a demo session above, choose an available provider and example, then run it. Public-source examples read existing records. For your own holons, save records in the COSMIC ORM or Failover tabs first. Empty results are shown honestly; no sample rows are substituted.
Sign in to load the providers available on this WEB4 node. Local developer demos are linked separately below.
Creates two private Mongo demo records using source identity, name and description. Other native metadata is read from the source. Existing or edited records are left unchanged. Then run the federation query.
2 · Read and edit the request
filters are combined with AND. anyOf adds an OR group. In selects an array of exact values. metadataPath selects a metadata key. skip and take page the results. This editor accepts JSON, not executable C#, SQL or Cypher. The server checks permissions, bounds and provider capabilities.
Each Run starts a new logical query. Keep its key and operation ID if the outcome is uncertain; use the existing WEB4 reconciliation flow before repeating it. Cancel stops this browser waiting and may leave server work running.
3 · Inspect the real result
Full API response · includes federation provenance and errors
Federation preserves provider copies. Seeing the same ID on several providers does not prove a globally atomic snapshot or causal agreement.
4 · Oracle + Mongo local demo
Run the same content filter on both native databases and inspect each provider's copies.
This opens your local demo in a separate tab. It uses synthetic demo records and does not receive your sandbox sign-in. Oracle is not connected to the hosted sandbox.
Start the reusable local demo
From C:/Source/OASIS-cosmic, run this command first, then open a local example above. Stop the local demo with its stop button when finished.
pwsh -File Scripts/TestHosts/Run-ReusableOracleMongoTests.ps1 -Content -Serve -ArchiveCompletedDemo
5 · IPFS, SOLID and ActivityPub + MongoDB
Select several native records with a CQL metadata membership filter, then inspect copies from both providers.
Use CQL Playground above for providers marked ready on this host. Optional C# and HTTP examples ↗ are available alongside the local launchers below.
These local demos support bounded native-key queries. General content searches and full query parity remain separate work. Your hosted sign-in is never forwarded.
IPFS + MongoDB · encrypted records selected by CID
pwsh -File Scripts/TestHosts/Run-ReusableProtocolMongoTests.ps1 -Provider IPFS -Serve -ArchiveCompletedDemo
Three selected IPFS records plus two MongoDB records: five physical copies.
SOLID + MongoDB · encrypted Pod records selected by resource key
pwsh -File Scripts/TestHosts/Run-ReusableProtocolMongoTests.ps1 -Provider SOLID -Serve -ArchiveCompletedDemo
Three selected Pod records plus two MongoDB records: five physical copies.

ActivityPub + MongoDB · existing public Mastodon statuses
pwsh -File Scripts/TestHosts/Run-ReusableProtocolMongoTests.ps1 -Provider ActivityPub -Serve -ArchiveCompletedDemo
Three public statuses selected by status ID plus two MongoDB records: five physical copies. No posts or accounts are created.
These local launcher commands use the preserved local-demo source revision ↗ and require its configured native services. Run from the matching checkout. They share port5088, so start only one at a time. The hosted playground needs no local services.
Keep all three records selected and click Run Mongo + protocol query. Uncheck one record to demonstrate a smaller filtered set.
Finish with POST /demo/shutdown on the local host and let the runner exit for owned fixture cleanup. Closing the tab does not stop it. IPFS immutable blocks remain retained; existing public statuses stay unchanged.
6 · Solana public accounts + MongoDB
In the hosted playground above, select a Solana public-account example. Read three configured mainnet accounts, then select the two-account subset. These are account metadata reads; no wallet, payment or transaction is required.
Choose the Solana + Mongo federation example, prepare your two private Mongo records, then run it. The full query returns five physical rows (three Solana and two Mongo); the subset returns four. Other visitors can read the public accounts but cannot read your private copies.
The source is a bounded account catalogue, not arbitrary chain search or transaction history. Browser acceptance of this provider remains pending; its hosted HTTP query, isolation and replica checks have passed.

Historical local indexed-holon demo — unavailable
The older MongoDB + Solana coffee-record demo requires its original local validator history and SQLite index. Part of that ledger history is missing and no backup is known. It is not a ready launcher. Use the hosted public-account examples above.
7 · AWS DynamoDB Local + MongoDB
Select records by ID through one CQL query and inspect copies from both providers. All returns five physical copies: three AWS records and two MongoDB records. The subset returns four: two from each provider.
This uses the AWSOASIS adapter against DynamoDB Local. Hosted AWS, general metadata/text filters and full query parity remain separate work. Reads do not claim a distributed snapshot. Your hosted sign-in is never forwarded.
Start the retained AWS + MongoDB demo
From C:/Source/OASIS-cosmic, run this command with the retained DynamoDB environment and seed configured. Preserve previous test reports before rerunning.
pwsh -File Scripts/TestHosts/Run-CosmicAwsCqlNative.ps1 -Federated -Serve
Choose Query all records, then Query two-record subset. Inspect the provider beside each returned copy.
Finish with the local page's stop button and wait for the runner to exit. The owned Mongo fixture is cleaned up; the reusable AWS seed and data remain.
8 · Ethereum public balances and local storage demos
Public mainnet balances · no wallet needed
The read-only C# demo queries three configured Ethereum addresses, then a two-address subset, through HolonManager and LINQ. It shows exact balances in wei and the selected finalized block hash. It creates no transaction or local database.

Owned-record demo · local chain + MongoDB
Query encrypted Ethereum records and MongoDB copies with one CQL ID filter. All returns five physical copies: Ethereum three and MongoDB two. The subset returns four: two from each provider.
This uses the retained local EVM chain31338 and original storage contract. Hosted Ethereum, mainnet, finality guarantees and general metadata/text queries remain separate work. Reads preserve provider copies without claiming a distributed snapshot.
Start the retained Ethereum + MongoDB demo
From C:/Source/OASIS-cosmic, run the command below with the retained chain, seed and key configured. Preserve previous test reports before rerunning. No query transaction is submitted.
pwsh -File Scripts/TestHosts/Run-CosmicEthereumCqlNative.ps1 -Federated -Serve
Choose Query all records, then Query two-record subset. Your hosted sign-in is never forwarded.
Finish with the local stop button and wait for the runner to exit. It cleans the owned Mongo fixture and stops both services, preserving the reusable chain records.

Hosted functional HTTP checks pass: native three/two events, Mongo pairing five/four, repeat setup with no new copies, visitor privacy and two matching replicas each in SQLite and Neo4j. Earlier intermittent native-query errors remain under investigation; this is not a reliability guarantee. Browser interaction verification remains open.
Event hashes and BIP-340 signatures are verified before results are returned. This proves integrity for the stated public keys, not real-world identity, freshness, relay completeness or a shared snapshot. Private Mongo browser copies retain identity, name, description and provenance, not the full signed-event metadata. No Nostr login, signing key or relay publication is needed.

1 · Save once, stored everywhere
Save a holon with auto-replication on. WEB4 writes it to every provider in the replication list, then reads it back from each one separately.
2 · Take a provider offline
Pick a provider and take it down for 60 seconds, for your requests only: nobody else using WEB4 is affected, and it always comes back on its own. Then load your holon normally and watch HyperDrive fail over.
3 · Load it and watch failover
The load starts at the provider you picked in step 2. If it is offline, HyperDrive moves down your failover list and serves a replica.
1 · Data from an app that has never heard of OASIS
The sandbox has a pretend online shop in MongoDB, SQLite and Neo4j: customers, products, suppliers and loyalty members, each keyed its own way. Create (or reset) it, then turn it into OASIS holons.
Point OASIS at your own database and it becomes holons, with no setup on the server. Pick the database type in step 2, fill in how to reach it, then list its sources. Unless you choose to save it below, the connection is used for your requests only: it is never stored or logged, and secrets are removed from error messages. Use a read-only user. Only public internet addresses are reachable; localhost and private networks are refused.
Saved connections are encrypted and kept with your avatar, only usable by you, and removed with it. A sandbox demo avatar and everything saved on it is deleted automatically.
2 · Pick a source and preview the mapping
No mapping is needed: OASIS names each holon from its name/title field, takes the description from summary/description, and keeps every other field as metadata. Override only what you want.
3 · Import it, then import it again
Each holon's id comes from where the record lives, so a second import updates the same holons instead of creating duplicates. Imported holons are ordinary OASIS data: they replicate to every provider.
One object model, any database
COSMIC ORM works with holons: objects with children, metadata and identity that HyperDrive stores on any provider. Each step shows the C# SDK call and the equivalent WEB4 HTTP request. Run sends the HTTP request live, as your demo avatar, and shows the real response.
Ask a question in plain English across your Web2, Web3 and app data. AI writes a read-only, permission-checked CQL plan, WEB4 runs it across providers, and an Explain panel shows exactly where every answer came from.
